This show is a double feature of two contemporary dance works. The first, ‘Washboard Blues’ a duet showcasing the struggle of two women who are facing the crushing fatigue of washing clothes in primitive conditions. This piece creates a wonder and whimsy that is rare and distinct, combining theatre, contemporary dance, and jazz music. Followed by ‘Enchantress’, a visceral coming of age tale, showing the passage of time through a woman’s life. Based on the modern pagan traditions of “The Triple Goddess”, which breaks down a woman’s life into three phases “Mother, Maiden & Crone”
